Hi, I’m Kathrin Newman a newborn, maternity, portrait and family photographer based in Bad Windsheim, Germany.

My photography career started actually during my first career as a journalist. I wanted my photos, that were printed along with my articles, to reflect my written words. Nowadays I am still trying to tell a story with my photographs. It is important to me to make my models feel comfortable in front of my lens and later love their finished pictures for years to come. For the first 5 years I was working out of my basement in our home and in November 2018 opened my first commercial space.

Photography is not just a commodity to me, it means so much more to our family. As a military family we get seperated a lot and through photographs we can keep connected and think about the good times together. I want my clients to feel the same way when they look at pictures of their loved ones and bring back the memories and feelings they were feeling in that special time of their lives.
